What are the steps in a junk car pickup?
A pickup with H&H Cash for Junk Cars Chicago has four steps: you describe the car and get a price, we settle the paperwork under Illinois rules, a free tow comes to wherever the car sits, and you're paid by cash, Zelle or Cash App at the car before it leaves. Pickups run 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
Describe the car
Year, make, model, whether it runs, where it sits and which papers you have. You get a price on the call or by form.
Settle the papers
With a title, you're set. Without one, we check your papers against Illinois rules before anyone drives out.
Our tow truck meets the car
Curb, driveway, garage, alley, apartment lot or repair shop, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The tow is free.
Paid, then it's gone
The driver checks the car, you sign, and you're paid by cash, Zelle or Cash App before it leaves.
The call: what we ask and why
The price depends on the car, so we ask about it: year, make and model, whether it runs, what's damaged or missing. The pickup depends on where it sits, so we ask about that too: street, driveway, garage, alley or lot, which way it faces, and whether the wheels turn. Honest answers keep the price you're quoted the price you're paid.
The papers: settled before the truck moves
If you have the title, you'll sign it over at the car. If you don't, tell us what you do have. Illinois rules decide which papers can replace a title on a scrap sale, and we check yours on the call so nothing is left to chance at the curb. The visit: short when you're ready

Does someone need to be at the car?
Yes, plan to be there. You sign the car over and receive payment at the car.
Can one trip take two or three cars?
Yes. If they're at the same address, they can all leave in one visit. Tell us how many when you call.
What if the car is somewhere other than my house?
That's fine. Repair shops, apartment and condo lots and mobile home parks are normal pickups once you've arranged access.
